JoshxKret Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 I'm planning on getting 6 12' subs, each rated at 600 RMS and 1200 peak, can someone help me with how I would wire these together for maximum power and what would be the best amp for this, that won't break the bank. PLEASE HELP!
gr8handogoatness Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Are these subs single voice coil, dual 2 or dual 4? Get a sundown 3500 and run it at 1 ohm.
GSanders17 Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Need more info before anyone can really answer that question

bassman619 Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 6 subs? I would say best to use 3 bass amps to push them 1 for each pair..thats the easiest way because with 6 subs all in parallel or series w no matter whether theyre svc or dvc 2ohm or 4ohm..youll get a wierd ass impedance and some amps will be stable at that and some wont. So either do 3 amps and get 4ohm dvc subs and wire in parallel or get 4 subs 2ohm dvc at 800w rms rating and wire them all together to get 1 ohm... heres what I would do if I had that much space. Get 4 15" subs and wire to 1 ohm on one amp. Ps that many subs will always break the bank..think about the subs then the amp(s) then the highs youll need to keep up with the bass ..then all of the wire youll need cuz with this much shit you cnt go cheap budget on wire..and then on top of that all the electrical upgrades youll need..h/o alt ..batteries ( at least agm under the hood and minimum 1 in the trunk) big 3 .. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS INSTALL WITH OUT ELECTRICAL UPGRADE!! YOU WILL BURN SOME EQUIPMENT THEN YOULL BURN MONEY REPLACING IT You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries
