static noise when bass hits wtf??????

Mine gets warm to but I think it can handle that and I havnt tried unpluging my rcas with the amp,on ill do it tomorrow

actually let me rephrase it

car off unplug rcas

make sure they are not ground you could fry the headunit

then turn on car listen for noise

btw have you cleaned the battery ground or tried moving it

Disconnect one speaker at a time at the amp and see if the distortion stops!

Rinse and repeat with every speaker in the car.

Try running new rca patch cords inside the car just loose from the h/u to the amp to make sure they are not pinched or cut.

You have to do this systematically starting from the front to the back checking each piece and ruling it out as you go along, there is no other way around it.
