Beanz
So I wanna get a heat gun but could I get away with using like a cheap harbor freight one or does it really matter on what brand I get? That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. wizart383
It depends on what your going to use the heat gun for? 9 years ago I bought a black and decker heat gun so I could spit shine my boots and till this day I still use it to heat up shrink tube aand such. Pasta Prime
I've had my Harbor Freight one for about 5 years and its still going strong. I did kill one once though using it all day non stop pretty much. It was worth the $15 I paid for it. New build coming........ PolishThunder
Not a whole lot of difference between brands, most of them are gonna be good enough for what you need. As long as you don't majorly cheep out you be fine. I've got a pretty old black and decker one and I've never had a problem with it.

bigmizzle99
I buy HF when I don't think I'll be using the tool much, i.e. I bought a rotary hammer from HF that I've used half a dozen times. For a heat gun, go for it, nothing wrong with HF Camaro SS Build Altima build 2.0 Altima build 1.
dubtuner98284
I have a Harbor Freight and a Wagner. I have no problems using either one when fender rolling or heat shrinking.
