Bet you dont know where the 12 spoke baskets come from? Heres a hint, its not usa. Sorrry but this whole china thing gets sickening, time after time after time. So fi is held to a higher standard than another good company because made, and assembled with usa parts, but now you just said the ferrite come from china, and well so do the baskets. What makes fi so great using some Chinese manufactured parts, compared to another company doing the same, but is always looked down upon due to the same techniques?
BuckTussa Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 I picked up a few RE subs last year and regretted that decision. Very poor quality soft parts. I ended up getting a refund after swapping them out not once but twice just to give them a chance. I'm not saying all China stuff is bad or RE is bad but you do run into these types of problems more often coming from there. Just from trying out the new RE gear I would say be cautious and keep the receipt if you go down that road.

rickman Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 in my opinion after reading what others said you should look into buying an FI or maybe buy a DC woofer im sure those are cheaper in price and good woofers that the re xxx. after my MTX 9500 go out (which i dont know when lol) i was thinking about buying either a DC woofer or FI.
