Real96SS
So my teammate let me use his AMM-1 to check the output power on my 9ks and this is what came up on the second burp. Remind you the amps arent strapped so this is from a single 9k. I thought it was funny to see this because its not even possible. So you guys can enjoy this one LoL Quote Vehicle 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche(Co-Co) DNX9980HD 6 Team Fi 15's(King Edition) 3 DC 9k's 8 Nendo PWX 8's 4 Custom Steg 4" Super Tweeters 1 DC Audio 175.4 1 DC Audio 90.4 Rockford 360.3 3 DC Power 370xp Alts(Externally regulated) 21 D1600's 2 D4800's All SMD RCA's AudioTechnix Deadner Viper Alarm My YouTube- http://www.youtube.c...NG?feature=mhee Link to buildlog- http://www.stevemead...4-15s-2-dc-9ks/ Link to UBL- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/165059-ublkings-avalanchecoco-new-build-starting8-king-edition-15-team-fis-in-a-wallyes-a-wall/

Miguels
even if its 2 amps they are doing 12,500 each after rise... making me want to get 2 more mayhems and do a 16v system Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
Real96SS
you photoshoped it No photoshop believe me this is a real picture. I have no clue why it showed that number but it did and it did more than once. Even showed 30k at one point. Im waiting on an answer back from Tony now as to why its showing such a high number. Lol what'd you do loop the cable through twice? Thats 2 runs cause I have 2 subs to each amp. Their not wired together inside the box. Miguels
try it with 1 wire Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
Real96SS
try it with 1 wire one sub per wire means only reading power to one sub if I'm not mistaken. Which wouldn't actually be showing the full output of the amp Quote Vehicle 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche(Co-Co) DNX9980HD 6 Team Fi 15's(King Edition) 3 DC 9k's 8 Nendo PWX 8's 4 Custom Steg 4" Super Tweeters 1 DC Audio 175.4 1 DC Audio 90.4 Rockford 360.3 3 DC Power 370xp Alts(Externally regulated) 21 D1600's 2 D4800's All SMD RCA's AudioTechnix Deadner Viper Alarm My YouTube- http://www.youtube.c...NG?feature=mhee Link to buildlog- http://www.stevemead...4-15s-2-dc-9ks/ Link to UBL- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/165059-ublkings-avalanchecoco-new-build-starting8-king-edition-15-team-fis-in-a-wallyes-a-wall/
CJ18
Has to be done with both positives running through. Not quite sure about this one, but I know the inputs are internally bridged, but with 4 wires going in, you can only probe 2 of them. Not sure if that could cause such a drastic number to be displayed. Also I believe Tony told me that the AMM1 is only accurate up to about 15000w after that it would still read, but may not be 100% accurate. You are correct and he just answered me back and said It is caused with class d amps and big subs, when the signal going to them is suddenly stopped the back EMF is being read by the meter.
