CLPeller
I'm in Canada-land though. By the time you factor exchange rate, shipping, and duty/brokerage, that SA-15 is a $350-400 sub. ToNasty
Still worth it in my opinion. And sas don't mind smaller boxes ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
gckless
Or, if you have the baffle space, what about a ton of Dayton HO 18's sealed? People knock sealed all the time, but that would be nasty and sound great. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. SPL.Pantie.Soak
I apologize for never answering you about the idling issue, I never addressed it, just simply turned everything down at lights and such (as I should anyways.) I was told I had a few options, switch to smaller pulley- wont work in my case due to a already slipping belt (smaller pulley would make the issue even worse.) Next option was to get a bigger crank pulley... no can do. And final option was to go through with a program change that would raise my idle. Best option was to raise the idle but that would add some strain to my vehicles engina and I opted out of that one as well. So I will live with it instead. CLPeller
UPDATE: Blew a D'amore... Boooo!!! Guess stereo is off the back burner. I've already traded a friend amps, so I now have 2 matching DC Audio 3.5K's. I need to decide what to do for subs, and I'm really leaning towards 6 DC Lvl 3 18's. It sucks buying right now though, because the Canadian dollar is in the shitter, so I'm paying 30 cents extra for every dollar... Gross. boom50cal
them Dayton HO's that gil suggested would perform really well. and would really shine with 1200w a piece or so that the 3.5k would feed to 3 of them. CLPeller
They probably would. I've just had really good luck with everything DC that I've ran so far. That's why I'm leaning towards the. I'm going to talk to the DC rep here and explore local options first though, see if I can't find something that'll work for me. I'm not really excited about paying out the ass for duties/brokerage/exchange rates. CLPeller
Thanks tboorn! I really like the idea of doing 8 18's sealed. I'd have to have the baffle angled to make them fit, but it would be awesome. Unfortunately, to get 8 of the Dayton HO's here it would be $3600 before duties and shit. So probably 4500 by the time they got here. Stupid low Canadian dollar. And I did buy another truck too, for hauling my jeep around. It's my redneck toy hauler.
