thegr8cody
Anybody have a set they can give some feedback on? Thinking of running a 6 1/2" and 5 1/4" in each door. Looking mainly for clear and decently loud. They will be amped (eventually) 1998 gmc sierra h/u:eclipse cd3200 sub:dd9518g d1.5 amp:jl e300/4 sub amp:dd m2a front stage:id ctx65cs dc power 270 alt lots of kicker 1/
g2shuck
Curious why coaxials? Especially if your gonna mod the door to fit two sets. 2000 Toyota Camry With Sealed Off Trunk Sky High OFC Wiring DC Power 270 XP Alt AQ 2200 Sub Amp Two DC Level 4 m2 12s 80 Mil Murdetmat Gathering Parts For Wall Build. Weigel21
Yeah, I don't much get it either. Why not go components and amp those. Anyways, why two different sizes? They will have different response curves so there could be undesired cancellation or peaks created. Edited June 14, 2014 by Weigel21

g2shuck
Hell even a cheap set if components like the Rockford p1s or primes would be a better upgrade. Why two sets? What's your sub stage? One good set of amped components in stock location is probably more than enough and no glass work required. 2000 Toyota Camry With Sealed Off Trunk Sky High OFC Wiring DC Power 270 XP Alt AQ 2200 Sub Amp Two DC Level 4 m2 12s 80 Mil Murdetmat Gathering Parts For Wall Build. thegr8cody
I dont mind components and ive thought of going that route again. I had the image synamics ctx65cs and loved tjem. But this go around im on a budget. And i figured with the 6 1/2's and 5 1/4's its more surface area. The reason for two different sizes is because i cant fit 6 1/2's at the top how i want to do my doors. I seen a guy who did his doors this way and it was fairly cheap and effective. g2shuck
One set if component is more than enough for that sub stage 2000 Toyota Camry With Sealed Off Trunk Sky High OFC Wiring DC Power 270 XP Alt AQ 2200 Sub Amp Two DC Level 4 m2 12s 80 Mil Murdetmat Gathering Parts For Wall Build. _paralyzed_
You're better off going with 2 5 1/4"s than 1 6 1/2" and 1 5 1/4".
skaraudio
I have talked to many customers who run the RPX Coaxials as well as many shop owners who really love the quality/sound/price of them. They are a great mid-level price range coaxial speaker that perform well on both factory power and amplified power. Of course if you have amplified pwoer we recommend running either our VXI65 Component or SPX Component Speaker Systems, but hands down I really believe you would be happy going with our coaxial line =) I am going to get a few videos of them performing in vehicles over the next few days. -Kevin Skar Audio www.SkarAudio.comPhone : (888) 501-7527
