That eliminates any mention of various features of different makes and models. Everything is a comparison of features and price point to determine which product is better for the prospective buyer.

When you go car shopping you make comparisons, read reviews and receive advice. It's how we obtain knowledge and make educated decisions. Without "this vs that" what's left?

It's to prevent conflict over brand loyalty... Whats left buy it and test if yourself and write a review.

I would need to buy both of the amps and install both because nobody is allowed to talk about them. Seriously??????

I'm trying to avoid just that by asking for advice which is sensored here because of brand loyalty? I don't have a preferred brand. I just want cold hard facts and figures.

Consider this my last post here. What a waste of time. I'll go elsewhere.

We are allowed to talk all day about products. You just need to ask the right questions. I love my alpine PDX-F4 I highly recommend it.

Apparently, I have to go elsewhere to seek answers to my questions because it seems some sort of politics is coloring conversation in this forum.

Hey man, Please don't get mad at us because we like to follow the rules here.

Personally, I'm a Class A/B guy and wouldn't have either amplifier that you asked about. They will work, but have nowhere near the power and dynamics of a class A/B amplifier. But I was nice about it.

These rules are in place because it just turns into a pissing match, like it already has.

Go to any larger forum and they will have these same rules in place as well.

None of us can tell you what is right for you.

All that we can tell you is what we like and don't like (and chances are those people that will tell you that will tell you to get a completely different brand then what your even looking at).

Its not hard to go on each manufactures site and compare those features side by side and go with what you decide is the right item for your purchase based off what you are wanting in features, power, price, looks, size, and whatever else you can compare. We simply don't know what gets your jollys off.

Now with the brand loyalty, there is none. This site has sponsors and vendors that pay for their advertisements on this site (again just like many other larger forums). Theres 3 different competing companies that offer sound dampener on this site, threes 6 competing companies that offer amplifiers. There is no brand loyalty. These manufactures come to these forums, they are here by their choice not the forums choice, but we do appreciate having these companies here to answer users questions. There are users here that don't run a single product from any of these manufactures and we are completely fine with that. So instead of assuming its like that on purpose, why don't you contact your brand of choice that is not listed and have them come advertise with us, just to make you happy.

Im sure if this site was based around like brand loyalty like you claim, the only companies here would be Rockford Fosgate and ascendant audio since these are the only 2 manufactures that the site owner uses for speakers and amps, thus again disproving your brand loyalty theory.

Finally when you go car shopping do you go to Ford and bring a ford to a Chevy garage and start comparing them? No you don't.

You do your research on what models both companies have, you read user reviews, you compare prices and so fourth.

Typically you don't go onto an internet forum and say Im looking at buying this Ford or this Chevy, which one should I buy and have a forum full of strangers make your decision for you.

If you are a true audiophile that is wanting the absolute best, you wouldn't be looking at any of those amps anyways, unless it was an Alpine F1 status amplifier.
