I placed one time with a $500 build. You people whining about not having money are really shitting on this contest. Being a fucking crybaby won't make me ever vote for you.

It's the time and effort in the build that makes it SOTM worthy. Many have won with less than a grand in their build but put a shit ton of effort into it.

Wicks was definitely worthy with all the cool tricks he pulled off with simple switches and relays, and that's what wins people over.

Congrats Wicks, you deserved it!

Some of my best feedback had nothing to do with my amp or subs.

My "Bass Turbo" button cost me less then $100.

My O-Scope in the dash was about $50.

A fun, clean and innovative install has nothing to do with the price of your equipment.

went off on a rant and forgot to say congrats nice build...

I guess its the fact that I dont send my life on here. I was on a team and had to get out because I was spending to much time in here at one point, I just felt (my opinion) that if you dont have a extensive build you will not win. Ive had several builds and couldnt compete cause the one rule box must be finished I take that as carpet, painted, glasses. I only did one of my systems like that and after I started running in the lanes I didnt have time to do that as I was always looking for more. Id build a box not like the numbers and try something new.

Sorry if I seem butt hurt I was just stating my opinion and felt that the people that have less time to dedicate to the build have a lesser chance. And I do remember that you have restricted some SOTM build to this or that.

Ive learned so much from here and have applied it to my rides and will be doing the same to my new ride. When done I will be competing in the SOTM every month till I win or restricted. Will be a while from now as I just started working again and am still playing bill catch up.
