Happened twice hmmm freind of mine, had a dc 270 blow bearings and then the stator..... chit happens eh? bigirb2002 Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 i got a 250 amp from lactrical .got alternator tested at mikes performance audio unit put out rated at 1300 engine rpm. came with a very small overdrive pully did 141 at idle. i suspect without the o/d pully performance would be horrible 1 yr warrenty

That was quite a few years ago now but I really don't have anything bad to say about the company personally. I got a Mechman in my factory slot, again nothing bad can be said. Got a DC Power dual alt bracket and alt on order. Will have more to say at a later date whether good or bad. Next is gonna be Singer. Regardless of what you hear people say about certain brands, at least go with a manufacture that has a record of good customer service, and not cheap stuff on ebay.
