as long as your car voltage doesn't drop much, you're fine on power feeding into the amp.

only easy way to fix it is to wire lower. get D1 coils, wire to 1 ohm. itll help. if you want, you can go below 1 ohm. i know a guy running four crescendo 5500's at .33 ohms daily and they're fine.

your mileage may vary. i'd wire to half ohm, but thats just me.

On strapped 2200's? SQ'ed?

but mind you, every frequency will affect the woofers differently. some frequencies you may rise to 10 ohms, others you may rise to 1.5 ohms.

oh LOL strapped 2200s? then if it was me, i'd do strapped at 1 ohm. so each amp sees .5.

thats what i would do if i owned those amps. thats what i plan on doing with my 1200's once i get shit together in like 20 years lol

but if you blow shit up, its not my fault :)

Ok. Yeah, those numbers were taken on a 40hz test tone, about 1 minute long.

Well, I will call Quentin at DSS and try to change my D2's to D1's... I think I should have the electrical, as I plan to add another battery or two.

2 runs of 1/0 as well...
