John Fassetta
Hey I just have a quick question about the dd-1 for all those more knowledgable than me. So I set my gains with my truck at 13.8 volts and no clipping. Then, when I'm bumping my system will drop to about 12.2-12.5 volts on the big notes when it's turned up to max (the point just below clipping when it's at 13.8 volts. Since there is less voltage, will my amps clip now or just make a less power? Thanks

Tarball
add electrical support if your voltage is dropping on a clean signal. Also, is your music source the same db as the track you used to set with DD1 ? Kyblack76
I set my dd1 at a hair below battery rest. Key ON, but vehicle off,.. I had to turn lights and ac fan on, and let it sit for a bit to see 12.6. But, thats what i did. MrSkippyJ
I think Tony D said it accounted for that somehow, that's why you are supposed to set your amps with the car not running. John Fassetta
Oh okay, that makes sense. It's been a few months so I can't remember if my truck was on or not but I followed the instructions closely so it was probably off it that's what they say to do.
