Hugh G. Rection Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 so let me understand..... your goal tuning is 41hz. your trying to get something that plays a bandwidth from 25hz on the lower end of the spectrum, to between 35-45hz on the upper end of the spectrum? damn, the world has changed. slowfkncar Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 All of the above woofers have the potential to get stupid loud at 25hz. The ones that take more power will obviously be louder at 25hz,considering all the drivers have a long coil.
TDZ13 Posted July 3, 2014 Report Posted July 3, 2014 What vehicle? All of above woofers in the correct enclosures can do exactly what you're looking for but it's so enclosure specific when you're trying to get out what you're wanting in the setup. My zv4s hammer the lows and I burp in the low 40s pretty well. My suggested would be a 4th order if possible or ported w/ adjustable aeros or interchangeable slot ports. 2006 Hyundai Sonata Lx - Alpine CDA-9885 - Rainbow CSX Comps - (2) 12" Sundown Zv4 - Sundown 5K - 4.6ft3 @ 33hz w/ 6" aeros sealed off in trunk - 250a Singer alt, Kinetik 1400, (2) 2400s - 150.4 @ Dash as of now
