hdorre
I know there are a few guys here that can weigh some input.. So I figure Ill try here too.. Last night when I was driving to my moms store, I felt my clutch pressure decrease with every shift. When I got to the store, I lost almost all pressure. In short, my stepdad was able to drive the car home. He mentioned pumping the clutch pedal and avoiding all red lights. This morning, I went to my car in the driveway. I felt the clutch, and it was pretty heavy. I turn my car around. By the time I turned it around, pressure was declining with every time I hit the clutch. I just got back from work (left the car in the driveway for like 8.5hrs), and felt my clutch. Theres nowhere near as much pressure as there should be, but theres a good amount more than last night. I pressed it a few times, and with each push, the pedal pressure decreased. Last night, I didnt see any fluid behind my clutch pedal or any fluid dripping under my car from leaks. The clutch fluid reservoir seemed to be unchanged too. My plans are to replace the master and slave cylinders.. what else should I look at? youngbass98
possibly the pressure plate that's what went on my dad's Subaru. or possibly air in your hydrolic line. but new master and slave cylinders would probably do it 06 monte carlo 2 12 rockford p3s soundstream rubicon 2500 crescendo audio mezzo 6.5 ct sounds 125.4 execution audio and shca wiring 2 xs d3400 on stock alt
OrionStang
Sounds like the slave cylinder. Im not completely familiar with the setup on your car. Is the clutch system separate from the braking system? EDIT: Answered my own question. Gotta be the master or slave cylinder if fluid level is unchanged. I got an ACT Kit installed 2yrs ago, with the HD Pressure Plate. Im nowhere near its max rating yet. Sounds like the slave cylinder. Im not completely familiar with the setup on your car. You're one of the people I was hoping who'd enter. Someone else also mentioned the clutch fluid line, but i ruled that out bc no leaking. The systems are separate, as you found. Im hoping its one of the two.. because Im about to just order both. Installation is gonna be a bitch.. the slave is in a weird spot. OrionStang
On a quick google search, I found that if the slave is bad replace it. If the master is bad replace both. But I don't know how you'd tell which is bad LOL. They aren't too pricey at least, just a PITA. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Broke_Audio_Addict
Sounds like the slave to me. Since you're going to replace both you might as well replace the lines too while you got it all apart. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Since you're going to replace both you might as well replace the lines too while you got it all apart. You're like the 5th person to tell me this about the line.
