truthsayer
If thats a kicker amp. That's 1000rms @ 2ohm and 550 @ 4ohm. So that really opens your options to all sorts of different subs. truthsayer

Miguels
run it at 2ohms.. 1000 watts wont tax your alternator too much.. if it does add a D975 in the rear and that should be more than enough my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

Weigel21
You'll be good with that car, it should have something like a 150AMP alternator, in which you'd have to be demanding more than 60-70AMPS continuously to notice any sort of issues, minor as they may be. Had you said something like a 80's or early 90's Honda or something with an 80AMP alternator, then there could have been noticeable to severe issues when really bumping your tunes.
