Wow what a day.

It's the simple things that get ya.

I was furious these amps wouldn't power up, but I thought it was strange that both were doing the same thing?

I kept going over everything, it was doing my head in. I ended up ripping one amp out and pulling the cover off to see if I could see any problems inside, looking over power supply I seen a small wiring loom with SWITCH PWR on the board, and it went to a switch I've never seen before... Wow I'm a dummy for not noticing this switch, I've never seen any other amp with one either. Such a small thing can make such a headache...

So I flick the switch and what do you know!

She works!!

Had a quick listen, sounds very nice.

Haven't turned it up yet, it's too loud for my neighbourhood.

I got a few little vids if anyone wants to see.

Fronts are currently just Focal 165v3 in the doors, I also have Image Dynamics horns which I am yet to install, I've been hella busy lately.

Got my steering wheel back from trimming, so at least I can drive it without vicegrips now. You can see this is the theme the rest of the interior will be following once it's all done, don't wanna rush my trimmer as he is a friend and looking after me on this.

It'll probably be doing it's first show outing with no seats etc. so she'll be a trailer queen.

I also bit the bullet and got the rims I wanted for her, slightly bigger than the test fit rims. These are 18 x 9.5" on a +15 offset. Slightly different color centre too, shadow chrome. I think it looks great.

I also lowered the front a few inches, I didn't want to go too retarded, as it is it almost lays frame static anyway at the moment, need to drive it out of the workshop on planks...whoops

Front's a little 'mexican', it should camber in once it gets moved a bit more than just backed out of the shed. I've only ever driven this car once.. the day I bought it lol

I wanted a car that looks cool, not just a plain old car with a stereo.

I wanted a car that would grab attention at shows, on the street etc. even when closed up and no stereo playing or being shown. Obviously there are a few points needing tidying up, but I think I've got the look.
