So here is a suggestion, power: to sub rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 4 1/2", figure is just an assembly guide:

NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.

OP, do not follow the BS that rich40 posted. He doesn't even know how to use the program.

Since you are building in the trunk, post your max dimensions available and if you want to save trunk space or not.

Maybe you shouldn't be recommending if you don't know how to use the software. Not to mention, you obviously have no real world experience or knowledge to go off of.

4.3 cubes, tuned to 34hz, triple baffle, nearly 60sq of port. Ken, sound like a decent setup to you?

Not super sure of how SP4's like boxes anymore. Always read they like them a bit on the big side.

Double baffle should suffice, triple if you can fit it. Port between 60-70", at least 60. 34 tuning is fine, and 4-4.5 cubes.

They actually work well in a wide range of enclosure designs.

Close to 60, still it's 2 6's so it should be fine(working for me with an HD15 but 16sq in/per)

Top/Bottom: 40" x 19.5"

Sides: 15.25" x 16.5"

Front/Back: 40" x 15.25"

Ports are 2 6 inch ports being 24 inches long a piece. Triple front baffle, all front baffles resting between top and bottom.

4.30 ft^3, 34.2hz tuning. 56.5 sq of port, 13.14 per cube.

Port area is a tad low, but with the use of round PVC ports it shouldn't be a problem.

(photobucket is being fucky and won't let me upload screenshot)
