Sid420 Posted July 14, 2014 Report Posted July 14, 2014 I plan on getting 2 q1-3500.1's to power 4 dc xl 15's. Should I strap the amps together or just have them separate?

fecupe2001 Posted July 14, 2014 Report Posted July 14, 2014 strapped at 2 ohms (1 ohm a piece) works awesome I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Noel989 Posted July 14, 2014 Report Posted July 14, 2014 If you want to wire 2 subs per amp then get either d1 or d4 they both get a final impedance of 1ohm If you want to strap get get d1 coils so your final impedance is 2ohms Build Log - http://www.stevemead...-cruiser-el-pt/
Sid420 Posted July 14, 2014 Author Report Posted July 14, 2014 That does sound pretty good. is there any advantages to strapping amps?
tacomaguy1 Posted July 14, 2014 Report Posted July 14, 2014 I've always heard unstrapped is more reliable, have done both Team Flex Issues
MrSkippyJ Posted July 14, 2014 Report Posted July 14, 2014 You only need to mess with settings on one amp. More things can go wrong though. F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69
Sid420 Posted July 14, 2014 Author Report Posted July 14, 2014 Okay. I am just going to go without strapping them and get d1. Thanks
