Motorboat KER
I would assume that it is in SQL db and the pass is hashed. Try registering a new account and have them take your new pass hash and replace the old one with it
n8ball2013
Its their policy at the help desk. Keep elavating. The help desk basicslly told you tl launch an attack against their network. What level of intellligence do you think this person has. Ask to speak to a supervisor because they are basically holding them hostage. There js always a way around encryption if you have the key. They have the key. crw092782
I emailed the tech team about the SQL hash, I am just hoping that I get someone who knows what they are doing. 2004 Pontiac Vibe Build Sony MEX-N5000BT JBL P660C x 2 Sundown Audio Zv4 18 Crescendo BC2000D Crescendo S800/4 Execution Audio 0 AWG Wire Sky High Car Audio RCA's Toolmaker Terminals XS Power D1200 DC Power 240HP Alternator Viper 5706
n8ball2013
Its not even a sql hash if they encrypted the data its an encryption key issue. Typically encrypted with aes at this point. Thats a whole new ballgame. If they have the capability to encrypt you have the cspability to decrypt it just required higher authentication. Ive used checkpoint and pgp programs among others for an enterprise. We lose users all the time and we still have the capabilities to pull their data. Youre getting a run around by a low level help desk employee. n8ball2013
I would. You have to remember that the help desk wants to redolve without escalating to the next tier. But I dont think that part of their privacy policy says that if you lose your password to decrypt youre sol and no company is going to give you permission to brute force their network. Their ips and ids are probably going nuts and being they employ encryption they probably have it. Pose this question to them. Say the feds show up with a subpoena. You mean to tell.me they wont turn over the data and the encryption key? They would trip over themselves tonappease that request. Get abive the help desk you may need someone from the company or the person whk set it up though THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. crw092782
Tier 2 support is telling me that they would hand over the files to the feds, but it is encrypted so it wouldn't do them any good. I am at a wall here. I guess I am going back to the guessing game again for another few hours. 2004 Pontiac Vibe Build Sony MEX-N5000BT JBL P660C x 2 Sundown Audio Zv4 18 Crescendo BC2000D Crescendo S800/4 Execution Audio 0 AWG Wire Sky High Car Audio RCA's Toolmaker Terminals XS Power D1200 DC Power 240HP Alternator Viper 5706
