Subwoofers not turning on but amp works. (so do subs)

OK guys so here's my issue, installed an entire new system, everything works, besides the subwoofers. The amplifiers both turn on, all the speakers turn on, my only issue right now is that the subwoofers do not turn on. I have plugged a left/right Rca to aux cable straight into the amp and played music off my phone and the subs do work so i'm narrowing it down to the signal cables. I've pulled out the headunit and doubled checked the rca cables, they are plugged in, I have tested the cables and they are getting a signal but the subs still aren't worked.

My headunit is an Alpine INE-957HD, I went into settings and enabled the subwoofer, it was off before, still no difference, I have turned the gain up and still no difference, at this point i'm at a loss, any help would be great guys!

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

Wiring is all good. Like I said plugged an aux cable into my amp and ran perfectly.

Yes there are 2 amps. One for speakers one for subs. Speaker amp and speakers are great and running well. Subs are not playing on 2nd amp but amp has Power and turns on. I left the amp on and plugged in my own cable. Runs and sounds well. I'm just thinking there's a setting in the head unit I haven't found.

I didn't even think of that I will check that tomorrow morning.

Sorry this was supposed to quote the HPF post.

turn up subwoofer output on the head unit

MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..."

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
