fecupe2001 Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 no need to build with a big ass sub if you can´t fit a proper box, my 2 10s gets louder than most single 15" systems around here (thank god lol) , one of my customers owns a hyundai elantra trunk car, has 2 300 watts 10s and a 800 watts amplifier, does over 143 at 45 hz, definitely loud as hell for the equipment he has I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Your in the mid to high 40's?

You could build the box inside the trunk..or you could build the box outside the trunk with sub and port firing forward and then load the sub in thru the front wit the box already in the car. Or you could make a fiberglass box out of the whole trunk . And load the sub in thru the front. I would never put a sub firing up in a trunk car..youll just lose alot of output and gain alot of trunk rattle You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries
