3.5 speakers

Anyone know of a good sounding 3.5 inch speaker to use?

I know 3.5 isnt the best size or souding speaker out there but i want to keep the stock locations on my car without modifing the holes or anything.

I have 3 3.5 speakers up in the dash and 2 3.5 speakers in the rear doors that im looking to replace. I have 2 6x9 speakers in the front doors and 2 6x9 and a 8" full range driver in the rear deck. So all the 6x9 or for mid range and bass along with a 8 inch sub in the trunk.

Looking for crisper highs but nothing like infinity speakers they seem to bright and not natural sounding.

Any recommendations?

I see they have a bunch of loudspeakers. Looking for a 3.5 inch coax speaker that has good SQ to it. I know it it wont hit bass or anything just want a clean high and mid sound to it.

Also the factory amp is a 12 channel and wired at 2 ohms. Sooo most speakers are 4 ohm and need something with possibly a higher db sensitivity to make up the difference in loudness.

Seen Hertz makes a 3.5 and has a silk dome tweet so it may not be so harsh on the highs

i dont see any coax speakers with a built in crossover for the tweeter.

I'd like to run some speakers active but cant with this setup in the car and dont really plan on changing the stock amp and all that

The 3.5 in your dash is just a giant tweeter, get a good component set and make a 3.5" baffle out of abs plastic for the tweeter.

Thats the whole thing lol i dont want to modify anything to put speakers in. want it to be as stock as possible.

Have a lifetime warranty on the car for everything and dont want to mess with anything to void it.

Stock system is actually really good probably the best stock system ive heard in a car so far. Just want to do a direct swap for some other 3.5s for some extra clarity

I know it sounds fussy lol i just dont want to have to modify anything or any of that to the car

Or would it be better to get something like this Fountek FR89EX 3" full range 4 ohm driver?

Not sure if a full range would play good at high frequencies i guess ive never listened to some or heard any..

Im just looking to have some crisper highs and more detailed sound. My midbass is already taken care of. So im not sure if i should do some coax speakers with dedicated tweeters or just some full range speakers.

Says they can play up to 20khz which is well past what i want.

You won't need to do any kind of modification to the car, just make an adapter plate that you can mount in the 3.5" spot and then mount a regular tweeter in.
