right ok so u want to add bass to a song

open the song into audacity

now go to project new audio track. it will open a blank score that u can use to add notes to

go to generate click tone set ur tone and length then create a bass line

once u have ur bass line and u like it got to file, export as mp3

then itll mix the two tracks and voila a new bassified song

im gonna be doing this tonight lol

do you know how to get the words out of a song without messin up the music on there?

i wanna do somethin with a couple different versions of sweet home alabama

So you cant just deepen the bass that is already in the song?

I want to make it so that the bass doesnt distort the words. From my understanding what you told me to do is basically create my own beat... Do you understand what I mean?
