Sounds like your abs is engaging or not releasing for some reason. Your rpms are higher , because your vehicle has to give more power to move if brakes are engaged.

Have you checked your brake pads? Check your brake cylinders also, one might be sticking. You could have a bad brake line (collapsed) not allowing brakes to release instantly as they should.

Could a warped rotor be a factor also?

None of the above will kick on ABS light

NEED to SCAN FOR CODES!!!!!!!!!

Aight. Going to autozone lol

Not sure if autozone can get into the ABS side of things

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

If is AWD check wheel speed sensor. Dodge is notorious for corrosive connection. Take connections off clean and use die electric grease.

On my Buick, it was because my traction control and ABS computer bit the dust. Turned out that one of my battery cables came loose (stupid side post) and screwed up the computers

Scary as hell when driving and you go to stop and it does the ABS chatter while barely pressing the brake pedal, and enabling traction control when I barely hit the gas. it made every day feel like trying to stop and go on ice, at least until it finally threw a fault code and disabled ABS/TC entirely.

Got my car back. Master analog brake cylinder was about to go out and the ABS module was having fits. So, yea. $955 repair. Paid $55. Thank the Lord for warranties. Only thing is the module...If it ever goes out again, nothing I can do at home because a fresh one has to be programmed to Dodge Caliber factory specs. Oh well
