bighossf150
I'm looking at replacing the 8 my gmc with a sa8 v2, box is a dcarcustoms box .6 cubes at 33hz. I know what the sub is rated at but how much power have people been throwing at them? Amp options are a ab vfl100.1 or a ab ph4000md, I have a ct sounds 500.1 too but would rather not use it. I'm thinking of getting a d2 and throwing the 100.1 at it and see how it likes it, vfl is 1500@1 and the 4000md is 2k@1 Edited August 14, 2014 by bighossf150 Quote Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s
hdorre
I had a pair of SA8v1.5s.. A v1 with a different basket iirc I had them on a RF T1500-1bdCP. Birthsheet was 1908 @1 I had them for like a yr.. 11 months.. And could count on one hand how many times I smelled them. I was being stupid/careless those times. It took a lot to smell them. When I uninstalled them, EVERYTHING was on point.. Except a scratched motor lol I know, it's not a v2.. But I'd expect the v2s to be an upgrade to the v1.5s Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

bighossf150
No v2 motor, I do have 3 sa motors but they are getting 15" recones and gonna be in a 4th order blow through, the sa8 is just a temp set up. I'm guessing the vfl is around 750-800 at 2ohm so it should be a perfect match but I want to push the sub as far as I can without it popping Edited August 14, 2014 by bighossf150 Quote Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s
