the subs, i can play for a very long time full tilt and just get warm ( i feel the dust cap thru the port) the amp can also play for a long time if i drop my seats down to get fresh air ventilating. im wired to .35 at the amp with a box rise that ranges from 2-6 ohms, with that said the amps draws a lot of current and can get hot if played for more than 1hour with the seats up getting NO fresh air

Those Havocs are going ham

yesss sir there getting down and dirty

Seeing how I have the same car...that is freaking loud. Poor poor roof!!! :shok:

So what are your final box dimensions and port size and tuning.

yess poor poor roof :cray: im gonna have to think of a way to brace it some more, only thing that come to mind right now to stop most of the flex is a striper pole in the back.

has far as box info goes i dont really have any exact box volumes or even tuning, i kinda built this one to what has worked in the past and went with my gut and ear with some slight adjustments,

for example: ive notice the gets crazy loud when the port is aimed at the back windshield instead of a curve port,

i went with 180 (5x36) sq inches of port with a total length of 10"

if i had to gues box volumes sealed part around 3-3.5 cf stuffed with polyfil... and the front chamber aound 10 cf, tunning is around 45-47 hz ill verify it later with amm-1 or and im-sg

Good luck on the roof man. After having to replace 3 on my car i can tell you its not cheap replacing them

:ninja:

i went to a show and beat the shit out of the system, looks like the tear dint spread and the flat bars that are attach to the roof are working "ok" only time will tell if that tear starts spreding, bealive me there will be bracing. no offence but i dont want my car killing it self like yours
