pa-pa-platypus Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 you can still fit 2 15's without much issue tho even with an extra batt in the cab This isn't teeball. jessdabest77 Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 I have an 02 Frontier, ext. cab,put two 15 HDC3's,on two AQ2200's,and did a 152.7.My truck is closer to the Ranger,so I know the Ranger is sub's and port up.I've also played with the S10,and that one is,sub's forward, port up.Now,it's really hard to have the best of both world's,so are you looking for number's,or shake thing's up,and be heard coming down the street?

GassenD Posted August 20, 2014 Author Report Posted August 20, 2014 Well really it all depends on what my budget will be closer to time I buy the truck.. But If my budget that great, i'll keep my 2 SA's and SQ2200, drop a 300Amp alternator in there. If my budget lets me change some stuff around, i'm going to get another SQ2200 and possibly go 4 12"s wall off.. But If I keep my SA's it'll just be more of a daily vehicle and tune low. With the occasional competition here and there, that's why I was thinking about doing Aero ports to switch out tuning.. jessdabest77 Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 Aero port's aren't cheap. It'd be the best route to go tho,do four 6" aero's for comp's,close one of for daily. That get's loud.

What do you mean by close one for daily? Just "plug" it or something? '97 Explorer2 Sundown SA 15's SQ 2200D Kinetik KHC1800 (Front) Kinetik KHC 2000 (Back) KnuKonceptz 1/0 OFC 130A Alt + Big 3
jessdabest77 Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 Yes,they sell those at home depot that fit the 6 inchers.
GassenD Posted August 20, 2014 Author Report Posted August 20, 2014 Ah I see.. So why go with 4 Aero ports instead of 2? I know pretty much nothing on Aero ports so just trying to figure out different configurations n such..
