The picture with the black box shows how my sub is going. I've removed the folding seat, that how I was able to fit this box. I had a much smaller box I tested with but found port up against the back wall to be best. Better than forward, backward, and to the side with the sub facing the same direction. Yeah like I said Joe X designed the box hopefully he'll chime in with his thoughts. I was just brainstorming, hopefully having the same port in the same box with the port orientated differently won't make any difference in the box (volume, tuning ect...) except for the difference in the port orientation. Hopesndreams Posted August 19, 2014 Report Share Posted August 19, 2014 I've never played around in your particular truck but when i had my extended cab dodge i was told to fire and port down and it made a big difference. I noticed it hit harder and sounded a little louder.
