If you have a system on stock electrical and only replace the battery every 5 years, that is good. Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.

Guest Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 why did the guy at the shop say i needed a capacitor does he not know what hes saying? mainly, because he wants your money. secondly, lots of people think it helps (it does, to an extent. but not the one farad ones. try like 50 farads lol) when it really doesnt do much if your cars electrical is already underperforming.
