Actually I'm interested to know what books you read at the library so what were they?

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

well good, then why did you respond like that? i am just reciting what I've found, and you say im tryin to justify some bullshit. i was simply pointing out that most manufacturers in china requisite parts from japan and china, unless they're told otherwise from their american producers. and i can't find anything on the web (because my library doesn't have brand-specific material), that says sundown (example, and I've looked at other high-end brands) uses the fancy shit from sweden or germany. that's all I'm sayin. you don't have to get offensive about it.

there was a manufacturing and exporting from china, there was an out-sourced materials and manufacturing in china and there was a korean manufacturing something, i apologize for not being able to recite the exact title and author as the librarian got the books for me after i told her what i was looking for. the next time i go I'll be sure to write-down the exact title, author and dewey decimal that it was. i didn't think I'd be grilled on those specifics, again i apologize.

I don't think a company like Soundqubed, Sundown, Rockford Fosgate will care to tell you the micro-detail specifics of the manufacture of their amps.

I don't know why you have this conspiracy theory that a nicer amp has tighter tolerance/higher quality components, because it's just that, a theory.

but like i said, certain manufacturers boast that they use high-end componentry (which is something to brag about), and i just can't find anything that states that these high-end amps made in korea and china use such parts. i just want to see that they do. what's so wrong with that?

A pos is still a pos.

Fill it up with garbage components and that is all you have.

Quality costs!!!!!!

The cost of quality really hasn't changed much over the years and is still roughly $1 per watt.

ok fellas, after some research today I've found that there are certain manufacturers in switzerland and germany and what-not that make components to higher standards and with better materials than japan. what I'm wondering now is, do you think that the high-end amps that are made in other countries, such-as korea or china, use these components that are made to better specs with better materials or are they still gettin the shit from japan like jensen or pyramid (example)? i found that alot of manufacturing companies in china get all their parts from japan and china, so would that mean that the amp that we spent alot of money on is made with the same componentry that the audiopipe (example) was made from? i know certain manufacturers like linear power (which is another made in the u.s. n8) say they have better components but does that mean that sundown (example) used said components? because like i said, most manufacturers in china and korea are out-sourcing to japan for their components. at least this is what i found at the library, reading books about manufacturing import and export. so i am just asking here, do you guys know for certain that these high-end amps are using the components like what where in that document that you provided for my enlightenment, like the ones made in sweden and germany that where high quality. or are they using the same shit made in japan, and just more of them or in a different way that jensen (for example) does? and i ask here because i can't find anything on sundown or crescendo website that says they use those expensive, bad-ass components.

It's nice to see someone look at some books.

Just because germany might have some better components, just like sweden, Japan also has components that are a lot better then either of those. For example capacitors from Japan.

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

What's so wrong with it? I don't think Sundown(just for example) needs to provide you, or anyone with a specific parts list of what goes into the amp. What's to say that they provide a schematic, parts list, etc. and you don't go off and start trying to make an audio company? If you're interested in doing some independent research, but one of the amps whose components you wish to question. Then desolder the components and see how many different varieties/tolerances in that part you can find or buy.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

yes i like to support my local library every once-in-a-while, and that's exactly what I'm sayin, these parts are not necessarily bad. but everyone's tryin to say that the high-end amps have exquisite components when I've found that unless the american Requisitor applies them, then they use the same old shit that they have stock-piled. and i can't find anything on any high-end amp manufacturers website that says they use expensive components. did anyone else?

You also have to remember the expensive stuff is being designed by the companies themselves they aren't calling a factory and saying we need an amp that puts out 1000 watts send us some samples.

nope they are paying engineers big $$$$$ to design them which also adds to the cost.
