Subwoofer Stokes Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 I have a Fi Q 18 fully loaded that im about to recone with Tantric and want to build a 1/4 TLine for it. I just dont know what i should tune it to. I like low notes and the fs of my 18 is 32.4. I was thinking of tuning the tline to 28 or 30hz. Any suggestions on this? <p>Black 1997 Chevy C1500 Ext. mrd6 Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 How much power? Just keep in mind the lower you tune the longer the line length needs to be and the larger the box gets. If you can fit a 28hz tune then im sure you would love it. However, you could probably tune mid to low thirties and still play your lows pretty well. Build it strong! SO don't go and throw more than rated and just start wanging, you can easily damage your gear that way.
