I don't think anyone is getting but hurt. You are talking about using l brackets on a several hundred pound wall. That ain't some single 12 box in the truck!!! People are trying to give you great advice that could possibly SAVE YOUR LIFE in the event of an accident. Remember it's not your driving you need to be concerned with it's everyone else.

No one's getting butt hurt they are trying to help you not get hurt.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

No, you weren't, you where just going to use L brackets..

I am about to wall my Monte carlo with 2 18s and was wondering what you guys use to secure your box to the car I was going to use L brackets but do I need anything else?

Even after several people said not to, your still dead set on using L brackets.

There is no strength to a L bracket when your talking about a wall that will weigh 500+ pounds that is not including woofers.

L brackets wont add extra anything but extra work to do absolutely nothing.

I see no point in allowing this thread to go on, especially when your calling people butthurt because you do not like the answers you received.

This is not a speaker box, this is a wall. If you want rely on L brackets, then I hope your not the one that gets butthurt if you ever get into an accident, or have to slam on the breaks and the entire wall comes forward crushing you.

Here are just a few walled vehicles that have been in accidents, and if they where not properly built and secured the drivers wouldnt of been able to get out of their vehciles almost unharmed..

So yea, I guess we are just butthurt for wanting you to do something properly.

Keep in mind, all 3 of these vehicles also rolled over.....
