Kyblack76 Posted September 30, 2014 Report Share Posted September 30, 2014 Ive Laser READ my alts, and under hood shit reading some pretty HIGH numbers... i think, if you have the right make, youll be fine...(the D series, over the XP, and such) Starters are made to hang with heat...... my god has my 3400 seen some CRAZY temps under hood. ..thank you I just don't know if sun rays are different .maybe I'm tripping Dude, i know you Cali folks get warm. Man, has my under hood temps, made me "ask, email, Pm, voxer" a mother fucker. ..... When you get "rated HOT" amperage from something.... my god.... my shit is "THAT HOT". My under hood shit, has warped LEXAN. After a 8 hour show.. running and doing my thing.. my GOD does shit get hot... just sayin.... I see the point of people talking about heat because compared to under hood the heat from being in sun would not be a worry, but the rays...I would question it to. To me it seems like it would be fine but it's also a lot of money to take chances on the stuff.
