RainStryke
It is limited IMO. I'd recommend checking into a degree that has something to do with data storage... One of the lowest unemployed sectors out there.
juan777
Get a job/internship in the field you are interested in. 2-3 months should be enough to figure out if you at least like the job enough to keep going. Otherwise you move on to something else. You'd be surprised how many people start out with a job that they thought they'd like and then have to change paths because it's not what they thought it'd be. The average person changes their profession 7 times throughout their life. It's pretty rare for someone to do one thing and stay with it for 40+ years. Evan_P
Go talk to some people in the profession and if it still seems like it's what you want to do go for it. From the time I was 12 or 13 I wanted to work in the automotive field. Was still into it come senior year. Then I was swayed by friends and family into mechanical engineering because it was a better paying career. Well, 2 years and $25k later I finally said enough of that, left the program, had all my credits transferred and just recently started the Automotive Service program at the local community college. Already loving the classes. Don't let anyone sway you away from what you are passionate for. If it is something you are interested in and enjoy, go for it.
