Need an AMP for two DVC 4ohm 600w RMS 12" Rockfords

If you look at the rockford wire calculator they say 4 gauge will get you up to 1500 rms, t1000 birthsheets have gone over that mark.. not by much but still.. that's why I recommended 1/0 wiring to let the amp do the most it could possibly do, if the electrical will support it.

I have 1/0 into a distro block, and 4 gauge into my T1500-1. It does 1900 at 1 ohm according to the birth sheet and the 4 gauge does just fine. If the T1000 really needed 1/0 inputs they would have put them on there.

Have you actually had either of those amps? The T1500 won't even fit 1/0 unless you trimmed it way down I know because I tried so I doubt the t1000 would fit 1/0 either.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

The prime 1200 is a surprising amp. Good power and performance for a lower end RF product.

Oh and Rockford makes the terminals o. Their amps big enough to give you rated power. Screw the birth sheets test benches have no place in a car. My 1500bdcp sheet says 1950@1ohm... I gurentee you I do t get that with music and 12v... Simple as that.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

I'm just saying.. That's what their wire calculator said, I didn't say that a t1000 or 1500 would take 1/0 gauge wiring.. could you use a distribution block for a 1/0 run to it? Yes, does 2 or 3 ft of a 4 gauge run or less from it to the amp matter? No.. do I think Its a good Idea to run 1/0 to either of those power series amps? Yes, their power houses.. guys I'm not trying to pick an argument..

Sure you could do that but why? For just about the same price you can get 0-4guage reducers. One less connection in the system. Might gain a tenth of voltage at the amp but unless your chasing numbers and every little bit counts its not needed.

I bought one for my gf's son's truck pushing 2 RF HX2 12's.

I have one in my Bimmer pushing 2 Memphis C3 12's.

1000W @ 1 Ohm @ 12V.

Actual is 1236W @ 1 OHm per some magazine test I read awhile back.

You really cannot go wrong with these VR series amps.

I'm looking to get the Rockford Fosgate prime 1200 rms watt amp but seems like they only accept 4 gauge and that barely fits. Can I use a wire gauge reducer to run 0 gauge to it? I was a lil curious because the terminals are at an angle on the amp. Any suggestions will be helpful

The prime amps are surprisingly efficient. 4guage would be just fine on it.
