Jerry Fang
This guy^^^ LMFAO OP, you're gonna be hard pressed to find that power at 2 ohms if you don't want to spend money. Maybe consider 2 1500w amps, one per coil. He can do 2 1500watt strap. I think 2 1500watt per coil is dangerous. OP can find a used Sundown SAZ-1500d for a really good price. TaylorFade
The fact of the matter is... 3k at 2 ohms ain't cheap. Well... it can be, but you may end up "paying for it" in the long run. Kicker is a good suggestion. Solid amp, but according to you... you won't settle for anything less than 3k. Massive makes a big ass 3k@2, but it's just (2) strapped 1500's. Which leads you right back to others' suggestions of strapping/gain matching smaller amps. Brazil has plenty of 2 ohm options if you want to go that route. MMATS has 2 ohm AND half ohm options that are American made and just as efficient as Brazil. Me? I'd get a Korean 5k+ and run 2 ohm.
