Linear Series speakers... Anyone heard of them? Old school 6.5 coax.

My 22 yr old son just bought a 1994 GMC Seirra SLE 1500 Trailmaster. He is the 3rd owner and the truck is in great shape with low miles. It has stock HU with the added EQ/taper player below center dash vents. The interior is in amazing shape with all the wood and shit but someone at some point added 6.5s to the doors that are Clarion models(older ones from the look) and in the back they made addapter plated to put these Linear Series 6.5 coax in there(these do not look that old but they might be.

I google searched but found nothing. Just wondering if anyone has ever come across them. I will take pics and post next time i see his truck. Now i have to design a system around something someone already started, yuck! lol

Any input on speakers would be great.

Could be Phase Linear ... But def.not Linear Power. They did not make speakers back then. It would have been Blues Car Audio if it was.

I know of LP making a servo 12" driver setup and a bass vent system, but not components.

Thanks guys, i will post pics soon. Like i said these look newer than the Clarions because of the surrounds and tweeter component.

The Linear Series logo looks right. Same as on the grill. So those are probly the ones but older when the logo'd the grilles. Look like cheap speaker though. I wont know until i pull them out.
