Broke_Audio_Addict
i never understood why people want to run .5 on a 1500 watt amp.. for a few bucks more you can get a 2500 watt amp and run it safely at 1 ohm i wouldn't run .5 daily no matter what the only way i would is if i have the biggest amp there is with nothing bigger to be had and im competing for people wanting to buy small amps and run them at .5 to get a few extra watts why not just buy the next size amp? I'm guessing a good 80% of the time it's because they ordered dual 2's by mistake. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. goldeneye4564
Overkill electrical never hurts. Unless you start clipping. My voltage is never over 14.8 Clipping is bad no matter what voltage though. Your post confuses my simple mind. yes clipping is bad no matter the voltage. and i was just telling the guy my voltage is never over charging batts. guess i should of put a bunch of dots........................ haha I RREEALLY ANGRY WIT U PHOTOBUCKET. goldeneye4564
I just don't understand why you mentioned clipping is all. once you start clipping voltage will drop and if it drops too low... (on an amp that is wired low already) bad things happen. I RREEALLY ANGRY WIT U PHOTOBUCKET. HAD TO USE DROPBOX NOW HOLYYYYYY. Wanna ride bikes? MrSkippyJ
That's true, but overkill in electrical doesn't make that worse. It's early man, I might be missing something obvious here. It's early man, I might be missing something obvious here. it can make it worse if you think you are not clipping because you think you have an overkill electrical system. rocking.that.eclipse
I usually run with the notion that if you have to ask don't do it... Also, hate to say it, I tend to think people who can't type out a complete thought should stick away from it too. Just my correlation between typing and knowledge on this stuff.
