Are they built then it's decided OR is it designed as a specific power level. And amp is enginereed for a specific power rating, after building a prototype they get tested to see how they perform. After this testing is complete, they either re engineer the amp to fit their specifications or just downrate them based on the measurements.(Last option is for cheap companies) Thinking is the root of all problems... kalilac619 Posted May 9, 2015 Report Share Posted May 9, 2015 Figured I'd give another update about this beast...I've Been beating on mine since December wired at .5 the whole time and for about the past month and a half had the proper electrical to feed it ( added a JB lithium Batt) and I'm still in love with it.before I added the lithium voltage full tilt would drop to about 11.9 then 11.6 about 30-45s in and it ran alittle warm but was still putting out power.now it has the lithium feeding it too,never drops below 12.8 full tilt and only gets that low after about 4-5 songs back to back usually hovers around 13.1.its a MUCH happier beast now and puts out a ton of power.so far this is my favorite amp I've owned and I've owned ALOT of amps in my time.anybody who's gotten a demo will agree :-) 2000 Suburban 6 runs of 2/0 12 timpano audio mids,6 timpana audio tweets and 1 timpano compression horn per door 8 banks of blue Maxwells + 260ah of Yin Long LTOs 2 370 Amp Autotech Alts mids amps 2 Crescendo Skyway 3ks Tweet amp Crossfire 2000.4 sub amp: 4 Crossfire XT 8ks Subs: 8 18 in Crossfires in a 4th order Best Scores at events… 161.6@38hz DBdrag sealed on the dash… 162.54 outlaw…161.14 Meca headrest Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
