dr hypothesis
I've kinda gotten out of metal the past couple years. I've had a hard time getting metal to sound good when I have a wall. I was mostly into the Norway/Sweden stuff. Opeth, In Flames, Soilwork, Emperor, Tristania Then some of the American death metal. Dying Fetus, Hate Eternal, Kataklysm. I haven't been keeping up with the scene, but I did hear some Abigail Williams the other night and was impressed. Brithish black metal. I'll throw out a mention to Gorerotted, since I'm talking about England. They're pretty crazy, shit sounds good as well. Here's some random bands as well that I still dig or have in my car: Chimera, Pro-Pain, Bloodbath (Resurrection Through Carnage, one of the best death metal albums i've ever heard), Sirenia, Lacuna Coil, Carnal Forge, Cephalic Carnage, Fleshcrawl, Gojira... I could go on and on. 2001 Chevy Impala Eclipse CD7200 mkii Cactus Sounds 5kw Sundown 100.4 (2) Fi BTL 18s (walled) ID 6.5s (2 sets) Iraggi 320 amp Alt XS Power Batts KnuKonceptz Wiring MidwestSPL Scores: 152.0 Advanced 2 136.1 Extreme

DP420
I've kinda gotten out of metal the past couple years. Yeah im with you on that, I kinda stopped listening to metal as much as well. I think the scene just started getting old for me... I needed somethin new, and I could not stand all the fuckin hardcore dancers that were showing up at metal show. And Im just one man, I can't kill em all! But, Megadeth is still the shit, as well as Pantera, Black Dahlia Murder, Gwar, King Diamond, etc... I also love Tool and A Perfect Circle... forever.
