cloud77 Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Looking for a new battery to be in the trunk location. I had 2 XS D975s there, but I am looking to replace with a larger group 31. I run a MMATS SQ4100 and a M3000.1. Wiring and alt is superb. Looking for something in the 300$ range..Are logic batteries any good? audiofanaticz Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 logics are ehhh imo and in taylor fades testing they didnt stand the best. Northstars are good batteries, so are XS Power. Im going to stand right beside the company that supports the car audio industry with sponsoring shows, donating products for giveaways, and have great customer satisfaction and support. Its not hard for anyone to jump on Facebook and talk with the owner direct, or even email them, and talk to a person that can help trouble shoot any issues or give advice that is specific to what we use the batteries for, and not just get basic PR response from a person with little to no specialties in the field.
rocking.that.eclipse Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Look into Juicebox also pretty compareable to XS
boom50cal Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 If it's a reserve battery for the trunk, XP3000 is a good choice. I love my XP2000... On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole.
audiofanaticz Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Look into Juicebox also pretty compareable to XS Juice Box was a few batteries behind XS on a few of Taylors tests being beat by energizers. the logic batteries where always below the Juice Box batteries. So at best performance wise Energizer group 31s where more comparable. Ok, people... results are in. I have video of all of this but haven't had time to edit and upload so here's r the Cliff's Burp averages are the average of (3) burps with 30 seconds in between. Music is a 30 second average. 1 ohm burps (average)... NSB - 150.63 XS - 150.53 Juicebox - 150.43 Crescendo - 150.26 Energizer - 148.56 1 ohm music... cloud77 Posted November 9, 2014 Author Report Posted November 9, 2014 I am in the process of having a bad experience with XS Power and might want to go astray from them. I did however see that the XP3000 is under 300$ on ebay and might give it a try. I can get a Northstar 31-AGM for 335 shipped as well. I almost got my hands on a Drakon group 31 battery for less than 100$, but still searching. Anyone have any info on Black Friday sale prices? 2004 Grand Prix GT (2) 12" RE XXXs (04/05 XBL^2) 5 cu. ft tuned @ 35 Hz MMATS HD4000.05 MMATS SQ4100 Infinity Kappa components Juice Box black cherry Duralast platinum group 34 1/0 KNU OFC, 2/0 welding Singer 250A
cloud77 Posted November 9, 2014 Author Report Posted November 9, 2014 I heard juicebox being a "best bang for your buck" buy right now. If I can get a good sale price on a D3100 for black Friday I would jump on that... 2004 Grand Prix GT (2) 12" RE XXXs (04/05 XBL^2) 5 cu. ft tuned @ 35 Hz MMATS HD4000.05 MMATS SQ4100 Infinity Kappa components Juice Box black cherry Duralast platinum group 34 1/0 KNU OFC, 2/0 welding Singer 250A
