Patrick Saxon Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 i recently got a dc 2k amp with out a bass knob from a friend i have had the amp tuned by multiple sterio shops and cant really get the sub hit hard unless i increase gain and boots a little witch seems a little high to me the gain at a little more than half and boost at about 1/4 will getting the dc bass knob for this amp make it so i can have a noticable difference when i increase the knob control i was running the sub channel through a clarion eqs 746 but it now hook directly to sub channel on alpine cde 151 unit im getting a deeped bass without the eq sub is a brand new dc xl m2 15

Patrick Saxon Posted December 3, 2014 Author Report Posted December 3, 2014 outside dimesions 17'' tall 27'' wide 20" deep port is15.5" tall x2" wide 15" long 3.5 cubes tuned at 36hz built by idyllic enclosures in roseville ive been to 3 shops and cant get anyone to set it with a dd1 or simular itsbeenset by ear by the shops they say they dont need one and im good to go they dont give a shit i put the boost lil under half and gain a lil below 3/4 and this thing slams but the sub gets a lil warm after a song no smell though i turn it right down as soon as it got a tiny bit warm
