should i put the port on the side or the bottom both firing towards the trunk

i currently have 4 12s Fi q in a sealed box and i'm planing to switch to ported my design is subs face up with port firing towards the trunk should i put the port on the side or the bottom . let me know what yall think would be best, is there and pros or cons, should the port be on the driver side or passenger side.

Aesthetically speaking, bottom ports look great to me.

Do a search and you'll find that people commonly do side ports for competing and center ports for daily listening. In the end, it's your choice but just giving you an idea of what I've read/seen on here.

I don't have any experience with side ports though so maybe wait for other members to chime in.

i wouldn't do driver side port. but the biggest question is which placement is gonna give your port the most room to breath? with 4 of those subs i would want to give my port as much room between the wall as possible.

anyway to fire into the cabin?

and if your going with 4 fi qs you won't lack in sq.

also if they have the high q option you might not want to go ported, stay sealed. if they don't have the high q go for it.

I've never seen a system in a prius, hows your Electrical?

and aren't they hatch backs? with 4 12s i would port into the cabin.
