Now could soldering be the best method, sure and thats with any terminal. Just my .02 Lol. They are not crimp terminals the only thing you are doing is squeezing it around the wire, a proper crimp tool and terminals will form a cold weld. I'd like to see you do that with those terminals and some vice grips or pliers. Nowhere did i say they were crimp terminals and while i do agree i wouldnt use vice grips or pliers, i do mine different and have no issues. All joking aside pull it all out and use a real hydraulic crimp or solder or you will burn your car down... PURE~PRESSURE Posted January 7, 2015 Author Report Posted January 7, 2015 Na a friend had a 10 ton hydraulic crimp...used a 25 die.Afterwards i wrapped with electric tape..Still have to redo the ones in the trunk. I will be buying my own soon. Good to have

moredbs Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 What everyone is trying to tell you is, it doesn't matter how hard you smash those style of terminals,or how much tape you wrap around them,they can fail! Wire will eventually work its way loose,and touch something it shouldn't! Then POOF! Its not worth all the time and effort your putting into your build, to lose everything over something so simple.
