I was going to say this.... but I think he meant mustang V6's, which is totally fair. They don't have a great sound.

Yea the stang v6's can't really get a nice sound I am satisfied with the sound of mine right now but want it a little more aggressive

3.7 with headers, 3 inch straight piped single sounds pretty good lmfao.

A 5.3 with a 150 shot would be a fuckin hoss in that car.

Then again a 4v 4.6 from a Mark 8 with some work would be a fuckin hoss aswell.

Just to be pedantic, only the VQ35 and the VR6 are actually V6 engines. The 911 GT3 (and most all Porsches) use a boxer configuration where the two banks of pistons are horizontal and directly opposite each other. The RB engines are all inline sixes, much like BMW's inline six, which also sounds pretty good.

Also the VR6 has like a 10 degree angle in it's "V", the pistons are arranged kind of like a staggered line and they're so close to each other they only use one head for all 6 pistons. But it is still technically a V6.

I wonder if there is some technical reason why a traditional 60* or 90* V6 doesn't usually sound good?

Accept your fate of having a v6 mustang. Dont spend a dime on it and be patient till you get a faster car with more potential
