SnowDrifter
Look at the size of the v belts. The grooves on the pulley are ENORMOUS Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
CortezDTV
This sure looks smooth as ever I mean is there some magical thing about belts when you double their size then you can double the amount of stress, I doubt it because of the contact patch really hasn't changed; that's why everything is serpentine I've been told by mecan you can't run over 220 amps out of a DUAL V belt configuration, I don't see why this would be any different I would want to see what mechman says and why it's Possiable now or mostly they will be putting stock car pulls sizes to accommodate a serpuntine style belt How do they prevent belt slip? Or does it just squeal? Or bigger diameter pulls and different internal gear ratio? CortezDTV
those 2 v belts have more contact area then a 8 rib serpentine belt.. Have you ever used a dual v belt and a big alternator? Have you ever had dual alts on a car? Experienced belt slip I doubt you would have said what you did if you can say yes to both of thoes questions Quote SCSB Santa Cruz Speaker Box Build logs: Daily Driver Lemon Marquis 2 american bass 750.1s 350.4 on 14 focal 6.5s sq 945 on 4 hertz tweeters Mystery subs http://www.stevemead...__fromsearch__1 The Mustang 'dubbed' Shirley the project from bullet holes to badass http://www.stevemead...cond-skin-time/
Ahmed Johnson
I think this alternator is for someone with a custom engine who is trying to break SPL records Or the result of some swisher's and knowledge

Have you ever had dual alts on a car? Experienced belt slip I doubt you would have said what you did if you can say yes to both of thoes questions look at the size of that pulley.. they are not like every other stock dual v belt pulleys i changed my v belt to serpentine for that reason. but look at the size of those. stock v belts slip because there is not a lot of contact area. these do have it. i also think this is not made for high rpm engines or anything over 2000 rpm and daily use. JMac91
5 STARS This is a really good alternator. Multiple alternators are really difficult to fit into my 2008 tank. Before this alternator my headlights on the tank would dim and my amps would clip. Now my lights are flamethrowers and every time my systems beat drops I think I just ran over an IED. Thanks mechman. 8 Quote Vehicle: 2002 Volvo S60 2.4t awd.Headunit: Kenwood DDX-470Doors: 4x Focal 6.5s/tweets (Adding)Sub: 2x Sundown Zv4 12's D1Amps: B2 Zero.1, MB Quart OA600.4Box: 5.2ish @ 32, Made with Maple, solid oak braces, 45s all around, 2x 5.8" pipes, all fiberglassed up.Battery: XS D3100, Block Shakers 110AHAlternator: 250A Excessive Amperage.
