kcarter1227
Just so you guys know..... Loose connections on electrical is very BAD never try to hurry and finger tighten a nut on a ring terminal I just tossed the fuse and ring terminals Boom, no more ring terminals just set screws now, also a HUGE PITA trying to get fat wire into those holes, Seriously thinking about buying a few sets of oversized 0 gauge reducers from toolmaker Not really audio related but these things are really cool for when you're working on the truck, strong magnet mated to a pan, makes it really easy to keep track of your screws, bolts, nuts, etc. It's strong enough that you can just throw em across the truck and hit pan and it'll stick. Call me a noob if you want, I never knew what heat shrink wire looms were, my dad ran a torch over one of the looms on my big 3 that I did and it was the coolest thing to me lmao.... anyways here is a SHCA lug factory made next to one of my I did and loomed... Can you guess which one is which? (omg I am a dork) Final temporary amp rack setup..I KNOW that the wiring is a rats nest, all the speaker wires are secured safely and together, the rack will be moved to the floor of the cab under my backseat and the wires will come through the board straight into my amps Just a nifty picture I took on a "cold" morning (it was only like 30, I live in florida so it's exciting to us) When work picks back up the rear will all be shaved, rolled and debadged Team Lethal Pressure Vice-President 2002 Ford F-150 Supercrew -Taramps DSP 3000 (subs) -Taramps DSP 1600 (mids) -8 Skar Audio FSX Mids -4 Skar Audio VX35-ST Super Tweets -85' of 1/0 EB Flex Welding Cable -XS D3400 under the hood -Datasafe 12HX505-FR in the rear (110 ah) -Pioneer AVH-2700BS -2 Soundqubed HDS315's -4th order Blowthrough -100 Sq. feet of deadener (Qmat, GP STFU, Noico) -147.8 @ 40 Hz -Top 5 in 904 SPL Outlaw's Walled List -Rebuild on the way
kcarter1227
oddly enough I didn't take many pictures of my big 3, I might run outside and snap some before it's too dark. kcarter1227
Hey can any highs and mids guys help me out on this? When I hear people talking about deadening their outer and inner door do they mean like behind the plastic panel and then on the metal panel? Or do they mean the first metal panel and then the panel like behind where the window rolls down? Cause if so, I don't know how to even get to it.... Like, there's not a way to separate all the metal to get to the panel which is the baack of the exterior of the door.
