(HELP) How Can I Wire Two Amps to One Capacitor?

Recommended Posts

You should be just fine with the capacitor. Really sucks when your alt goes out on ya. It's happened to me just recently and I have to replace mine. But for a somewhat lower wattage system you'll be okay with a cap. But once you get up into the 1000 rms range that's when a battery should come into play bc headlights start to dim etc.

Personally i would ditch the 10's and amp along with the amp you have on the 12's and get a more powerful amp to power those with, something along the lines of 1k should get them moving nicely and give you more output than you have now with 4 subs and two sub par amps powering them with.

Now wiring your amp to the cap is pretty much straight forward. lol
