i wouldnt wire amps to .25 thats asking for trouble. 2 larger amps at a higher impedence will yeild more power at a greater efficiency. if you are limited on money. electrical is usually the most cost to upgrade. i would swap for the subs first to wire at .5 each, then upgrade amps and electrical as necessary

It's not my point of view, ask any engineer about impedance RISE, he won't know what you are talking about.

Impedance is just resistance + reactance.

Reactance is dependant on frequency.

If you plot the impedance: impedance in function of frequency, you will see there will be 2 peaks.

It's called the impedance response.

Impedance is just resistance + reactance.

Reactance is dependant on frequency.

If you plot the impedance: impedance in function of frequency, you will see there will be 2 peaks.

It's called the impedance response.

Did you read anything I posted? I clearly stated inductive reactance. The common word for this at least on the forum is box rise or impedance rise. But I'll do some research to see if I should start using impedance response instead if it is the official term used.

But thanks for the info. I explained it correctly but was using an incorrect term it sounds like but a common term to this forum.
