Your factory remote would still work but and a huge but it won't be able to arm and disarm the alarm. firebirdude Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 Viper 3305V. Aren't a lot of 2-way alarms out there without remote start built in. Remote start is always an option, but going to add on a decent chunk of charge in brain, bypass module, labor. About double. All alarms will come with shock sensor, but none will come with motion. That will be an add-on. DEI 508D.
JP-12 Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 The alarm I had installed uses the factory Remote that arms and disarms the aftermarket alarm. Probably depends on the vehicle though, or because my remote is directly attached to the key.

Pioneerchuck Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 I have an 03 Cadillac that uses a Directed Remote Start system, it utilizes the factory key fob, alarm, and keyless entry. It only adds on the remote start. Im sure if you dig around or call Directed they should be able to point you in the right direction and get you something in your budget range with the features you want.

Lol I only waited a minute or two. Another option for OP would be to call Sonic Electronix, they might be able to point him in the right direction.
